Transportation from Honolulu airport to Waikiki

The airport is located 10 miles from Waikiki.

  • Shuttle bus

    Price: $12-13. There may be several shuttle services with cheaper fare.
    Notes: The shuttle stop is located on the first floor of the airport.

  • Taxi

    Price: Varies by company, but about $45.
    Estimated travel time: 30 minutes - 45 minutes.
    Notes: The taxi stop is located on the 1st floor of the airport.

  • City bus (TheBus)

    Price: $2.50 one way.
    Estimated travel time: 1 hour 30 minutes.
    Notes: A large baggage is not allowed. Bus stops are located on the 2nd floor of the airport.

    By TheBus: take routes 2, 13, or B.

    The HCC is within walking distance of Alamoana.
