ISITA Early Career Researcher Paper Award

ISITA2024 presents the ISITA Early Career Researcher Paper Award to recognize and celebrate young researchers who present excellent papers in the symposium.

  • Award candidates must fulfill the following conditions:
    • be at most 30 years old at the submission deadline (April 30, 2024, 23:59, AoE) of a manuscript.
    • be the major contributor to the competing paper.
    • provide the presentation in the assigned session.
  • Researchers who have won award(s) in past ISITA are also eligible for this award.
  • At most three winners will be selected by the Award Committee of the symposium.
  • Prize money of 10,000 Japanese Yen will be awarded to the winner(s).

If you are eligible for the award, provide EDAS the needed information by the paper submission deadline (April 30, 2024, 23:59 AoE).

IEEE IT Society Japan Chapter Young Researcher Best Paper Award

IEEE Information Theory Society Japan Chapter honors excellent papers that are authored by young colleagues and presented at ISITA2024. At most three winners will receive IEEE IT Society Japan Chapter Young Researcher Best Paper Awards, which comes with a monetary prize. The winners of the awards will be announced in the award ceremony in the symposium.

Requirements for Applicants

Those who meet all of the following requirements are eligible to apply for the award:

  1. You have (or you have applied for) an IEEE membership that is (will be) associated with a Japan-based Geo Section; Sapporo, Sendai, Shin-etsu, Tokyo, Nagoya, Kansai, Hiroshima, Shikoku or Fukuoka Section.
  2. You are 35 years old or younger on April 30, 2024.
  3. You are the first author of an accepted paper of ISITA2024.
  4. You will give a presentation of the accepted paper in ISITA2024.
  5. If you are a student, then your supervisor endorses your application.
