Submitted manuscripts should be of sufficient depth for review by experts in the field. A submission should contain a clear presentation of the merits of the research, including (i) the main contributions, (ii) why the contributions are of interest, and (iii) how the new contributions relate to prior work.<\/p>\r\n<p>To ensure a fair and timely review of the submissions, we ask that authors follow the guidelines below.<\/p>\r\n<h3><span style=\"color: #007aa6; font-size: 18pt;\">Submission Procedure<\/span><\/h3>\r\n<p>The deadline for initial submissions is <strong style=\"font-size: 14px; text-align: center;\"><del>April 28, 2026<\/del> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Extended to May 11, 2026<\/span> , AoE (Anywhere on Earth)<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"text-align: center;\">Manuscript submission\u00a0is on EDAS. Note that a copyright transfer form must be uploaded \u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"text-align: center;\">before<\/strong><span style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0the manuscript is uploaded. The submission procedure is:<\/span><\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li>Begin a new submission at\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/edas.info\/N34694\">https:\/\/edas.info\/N34694<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li>You will receive a confirmation email from EDAS.<\/li>\r\n<li>Create and upload the copyright transfer form, see below.<\/li>\r\n<li>Upload the manuscript PDF.<\/li>\r\n<li>Verify your PDF upload, by both the confirmation screen and email acknowledgement.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<h3><a name=\"manuscript-preparation\"><\/a><span style=\"color: #007aa6; font-size: 18pt;\">Manuscript Preparation<\/span><\/h3>\r\n<p>Submitted and published manuscripts should not exceed 5 pages in length plus an optional extra page containing references only. Authors should use the IEEE template files, available at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences_events\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html\">IEEE Manuscript Templates<\/a>. Please observe the following points:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Maximum 5 pages plus an optional page.<\/li>\r\n<li>The 6th page containing references only.<\/li>\r\n<li>Minimum font size 10 points.<\/li>\r\n<li>No page numbers, no headers, no footers. Please be sure to delete &#8220;XXX-X-XXXX-XXXX-X\/XX\/$XX.00 20XX IEEE&#8221; at a footer from the Microsoft Word Template.<\/li>\r\n<li>No index terms nor keywords. Please be sure to delete the \\begin{IEEEkeywords} section from the LaTex template or Keyword section from the Microsoft Word template.<\/li>\r\n<li>Papers must be submitted as a PDF with <strong>US letter-size<\/strong>\u00a0(and not A4).<\/li>\r\n<li>The abstract should be limited to 300 words.<\/li>\r\n<li>LaTeX format enclosed with $ $ is allowed for mathematical notation in the abstract on EDAS. Please check &#8220;Ignore paper title and abstract problems\u201d if $ $ is used for title or abstract.<\/li>\r\n<li>The title, authors and abstract in EDAS must agree with the title and authors in the PDF file.<\/li>\r\n<li>The authors using the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences_events\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html\">IEEE Manuscript Templates<\/a> for LaTeX should use IEEE-conference-template-062824.tex as the template and follow the instructions therein.<\/li>\r\n<li>The authors using the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences_events\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html\">IEEE Manuscript Templates<\/a> for Word should use conference-template-letter.docx as the template.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><em>PDF compliance<\/em>\u00a0Uploaded PDF files should be IEEE\u00a0<em>Xplore<\/em>-compliant, and will be checked by EDAS. This includes the following points:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>The PDF file must have fonts embedded.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/edas.info\/showFAQ.php?q=109\">Help<\/a><\/li>\r\n<li>Bookmarks are not allowed in PDF files.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/edas.info\/showFAQ.php?q=115\">Help<\/a><\/li>\r\n<li>Do not use page numbers, headers or footers.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/edas.info\/showFAQ.php?q=240\">Help<\/a><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>Non-compliant manuscripts will not be included in the proceedings and IEEE\u00a0<em>Xplore<\/em>. Other\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/edas.info\/help.php?for=searchFAQ\">help<\/a>\u00a0is available at EDAS.<\/p>\r\n<h3><a name=\"copyright-transfer\"><\/a><span style=\"color: #007aa6; font-size: 18pt;\">Copyright Transfer<\/span><\/h3>\r\n<p>Copyright transfer is required with the initial submission. Copyright is transferred to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieice.org\/eng_r\/\">IEICE<\/a>, not the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ieee.org\/\">IEEE<\/a>, using the form below:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/isita.ieice.org\/2026\/Copyright_Transfer_ISITA2026.pdf\">copyright transfer form<\/a>\u00a0(PDF),<\/li>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/isita.ieice.org\/2026\/Copyright_Transfer_ISITA2026_example.pdf\">example<\/a>\u00a0of filled copyright transfer form (PDF).<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>The following must be provided on the copyright form:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Paper ID number from EDAS. This is a 10-digit number like 156990301, and can be found in the registration confirmation email from EDAS.<\/li>\r\n<li>Title, author(s) names and affiliation(s); must agree with the PDF file.<\/li>\r\n<li>Handwritten signature.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>If you do not have a scanner, you can take a photo\u00a0or use a scanner app on your smartphone to make an electric file of a copyright transfer form. The digital signing tool is also available on Adobe Acrobat Reader DC\u00a0(please check <a href=\"https:\/\/helpx.adobe.com\/reader\/using\/sign-pdfs.html\">here<\/a> for example). If it is difficult to submit the copyright transfer form by the deadline, please feel free to contact at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:isita-2026-publications@mail.ieice.org\">isita-2026-publications@mail.ieice.org<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n<p>Errors will result in the manuscript not being reviewed.<\/p>\r\n<p>It is preferable that the copyright transfer form is uploaded in PDF format. But a JPEG image can also be uploaded, as long as the text is readable. Upload the\u00a0<strong>signed<\/strong>\u00a0copyright transfer form to EDAS by going to the &#8220;My Papers&#8221; tab and clicking on the &#8220;+&#8221; icon next to the column &#8220;Copyright form&#8221; where the paper is located. The deadline is the same as the paper deadline.<\/p>\r\n<p>Rights that the authors retain are described in the copyright transfer form. In the event the manuscript is not accepted or is withdrawn by the author(s) before acceptance, this agreement becomes null and void.<\/p>\r\n<h3><a id=\"proceedings\" name=\"proceedings\"><\/a><span style=\"color: #007aa6; font-size: 18pt;\">Proceedings<\/span><\/h3>\r\n<p>Accepted papers will be published in the Proceedings. The abstracts will be handed out to participants at the conference.<\/p>\r\n<p>Accepted papers will also be made available on IEEE\u00a0<em>Xplore<\/em>\u00a0and IEICE Proceedings Series\u00a0after the conference. If a paper is not presented at the conference, the paper will be excluded from IEEE\u00a0<em>Xplore <\/em>and IEICE Proceedings Series, with exceptions. The exceptions will be decided by ISITA2026 committee only. Notice that IEEE also reserves the right to withhold publishing in IEEE <em>Xplore<\/em>.<\/p>\r\n<p>The date of issue for the ISITA2026 Proceedings will be approximately 10 days before the symposium opens.
